Steps for License Reinstatement –

After a DUI arrest, there are specific steps you must follow to reinstate your driver’s license. Harrison Hope is here to guide you through the process, including completing your ADSAC requirements with an approved provider.

Shortly after your arrest, you should receive a letter from the Department of Public Safety (DPS). This letter will include the amount of your reinstatement fee, the date you are eligible to reinstate your license, and instructions to obtain an Alcohol/Drug Assessment and follow all recommendations.

Harrison Hope’s process begins with completing your ADSAC assessment through an approved provider. To get started, you will need to contact Allie Davis to schedule your assessment. You can also call (918) 621-1600 for assistance and general information about the process.

Your Alcohol/Drug Assessment must be completed by a counseling professional certified by the Department of Mental Health and Substance Abuse Services as a DUI Assessor. During this process, you will complete required screenings and meet with a certified assessor.

At the conclusion of your assessment, you will be given specific requirements to complete. Based on your results, Harrison Hope will provide the required 10-hour or 24-hour ADSAC course. Additional requirements may include a Victim’s Impact Panel or further treatment or counseling, depending on your individual evaluation.

Once all requirements are completed, you must return proof of completion to your assessor. After review, you will be issued a Certificate of Completion. This certificate will include an embossed seal and a red stamp verifying that all requirements have been satisfied.

You will then submit the original Certificate of Completion, along with your reinstatement fee (money order made payable to DPS), either in person or by mail to the Department of Public Safety.

For additional information regarding your driver’s license, you may contact DPS at (918) 632-7710 in Tulsa or (405) 425-2059 in Oklahoma City.

Harrison Hope is here to support you through every step of the ADSAC and reinstatement process.
